About NOWA Acoustics

NOWA Acoustics is a handmade in-ear monitor brand from Taiwan. Every pair is assembled and tuned by hand in our Taiwan studio, in small numbers — not rebadged OEM shells, but our own work from driver selection and chamber design to the final voicing.

Why handmade, why Taiwan

Taiwan has a complete acoustics supply chain and serious precision manufacturing. Structures like our 3D-printed ceramic bass chamber and pure titanium conduits were developed together with local machining partners — a new sample revision takes days here, not months.

Handmade is not nostalgia; it is quality control. IEM drivers are small and tolerance-sensitive, and every assembly step shapes the final sound. A production line optimises for speed. We optimise for every pair sounding like the one we voiced.

The lineup

We make two models, because each has to stand on its own. INFERNO is a six-driver hybrid — one dynamic driver in a ceramic chamber, five balanced armatures — voiced bass-forward. MIRAI is an eight-driver hybrid — six Knowles armatures and two micro planars across four dedicated frequency bands — voiced for vocals. Different jobs, not different tiers.
